Marissa Coveler
President
Hi ladies! My name is Marissa Coveler and I am the Fall - Spring 2025 Business Women Society President. After joining BWS in Spring 2023, I have been the Junior and Senior Corporate Relations Director, the Vice President, and now I get to lead BWS as President. I'm currently a Junior double majoring in Management and Supply Chain Management, and I plan to graduate with an honors degree in Spring 2026!

I enjoy watching shows/movies, going on walks, listening to music, reading books, and playing games. I spend most of my time with my friends, family, and pets.
​
I love being in BWS because I get to make friends, develop myself, and empower women all in one organization. Whether its by providing professional opportunities to members, planning interactive events, or making connections, I love getting the opportunity to lift women up. I hope to continue to have this opportunity for the rest of my college career, and give back to BWS as much as it gave me.
Serena Scaria
Vice President
I joined BWS in the spring semester of 2023 and I was secretary for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 before entering my current role of Vice President. I am a junior majoring in Supply Chain Management and Management Information Systems and plan to graduate in May 2026. In my free time I enjoy visiting new restaurants, baking, watching movies, and reading. I also love going on walks and spending time with my family. As VP, my goal is to support the officer team with all responsibilities and ensure BWS is a warm and welcoming environment for women to come together and improve their career skills while making deep connections with each other. I love being part of BWS because of the close knit feel and opportunities to share and receive advise from peers.
Cheyenne Fox
Finance Director
My name is Cheyenne Fox, and I am the Finance Director for this school year. I joined BWS back in Fall 2023, and I have enjoyed being part of it since. I am currently studying to get my bachelors degree in accounting with a minor in entrepreneurship. During my time in BWS, I have always enjoyed interacting with members, going to all our events, and overall just being able to be with other women and support one another.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music, and doing diamond painting. I have always enjoyed going out and exploring new places around town, and so if I am not at school or home, then that is what I am usually doing!
​
For BWS, my main goal is to have our engagement with members high and keeping a good attitude with one another, making sure everyone feels welcomed in our society.
Jazmin Anam
Finance Manager
I am the Finance Manager of Business Women's Society. I joined BWS as a freshman in Spring 2023 where I actively participated, and decided to run for an officer position during my sophomore year. I am currently a junior majoring in Accounting and will be graduating in the Spring of 2026.

Outside of classes, one of my interests involve listening to crime podcasts, a hobby that offers a thrilling escape. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going on solo trips, and spending time with family and friends.

Looking ahead as a Finance Manager, a goal within the organization is to foster a more approachable atmosphere, encouraging student connection and success!
Jade Guerrero
Operations Director
Hello! my name is Jade Guerrero, I am a senior majoring in Business Management. I joined BWS during Spring 2024 and loved the environment and people within the organization. I'm excited to navigate this semester with everyone and meet our new members!

I love visiting new coffee shops, cooking, and digital drawing.

My goal is to be able to provide everything needed for BWS to be successful throughout the semester, and aid to continue providing a good experience to our members and officers this year!

Rhea Mistry
Logistics Manager
Hello My name is Rhea! I'm a senior majoring in marketing, and I am the Logistics Manager for BWS. In my free time I enjoy dance, art, and trying out new cafes in the area. I also do henna on the side as well! I joined BWS in Spring 2022, and have got to connect with and learn about so many peers and professionals. Through corporate events, socials, and panels, BWS has helped me grow personally and professionally. I'm looking forward to creating a welcoming environment for our members through events this semester!
Nimisha Khiantani
Senior Corporate Relations Director
Hi, my name is Nimisha Khiantani and I'm the Fall 2024 Senior Corporate Relations Director for the Business Women Society. I am currently a junior pursuing a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems! I enjoy baking desserts, Bollywood dance, traveling to new places, and hanging out with friends and family! My main goal for this semester is to bring out returning and new companies in all types of business industries- technology, accounting, management, finance, etc. for our students to network and recruit with and to build confidence in our members through honoring in on their professional development skills.
Ameyia McAfee
Member Relations Director & Media Director
I am Ameyia McAfee, and I am this semester's Media and Member Relations Director. I am currently a Junior majoring in Management and minoring in Entrepreneurship. I enjoy reading, writing, and watching TV. My favorite genres are romance and mystery. My favorite book might be The Song of Achilles, and one of my favorite shows in Bridgerton!
I joined BWS in Spring '24, and my plan for this semester is to host various socials that members want to participate in. Furthermore, I hope to bridge the gap between officers and members to cultivate a welcoming environment for all. I look forward to a fun semester!
Kayla Duarte
Community Service Director
Hannah Mathew is the Community Service Director for Business Women Society and has been an active member since Fall 2022. She is a sophomore, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration.
She is from Austin, TX but is loving her time in Houston! In her free time, Hannah loves going on hikes, working out, reading and finding new cool spots. Hannah also loves to travel and will be spending this summer abroad doing an internship in New Zealand. She loves to seek adventure in new places and learn cultures in different countries worldwide.
Hannah is very passionate in helping others and giving back to the community. Her goal as an officer this semester is to create opportunities for BWS to give back to the community while empowering women and creating a supportive environment. She is very excited to be the Community Service Director this semester and looks forward to all the events planned for this semester! She looks forward to meeting all of you and having a great time :)

Sima Pangyani is the Secretary for Business Women Society and has been an active member since Fall 2022. She is a sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems at C.T. Bauer College of Business.
Sima was born in Nepal but has spent most of her life growing up in Houston. In her free time, she likes to cook new recipes and do arts and crafts. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends.
As Secretary, Sima wants to welcome members to a positive and encouraging environment. Her goal for this semester is to build connections with members at events and provide great support to everyone at BWS. She also hopes for members to have a fun and memorable experience!
Kayla Duarte
Community Service Director
Hi, my name is Kayla Duarte and I am the community service director for BWS! I have been a member of BWS since Spring 2023 and I am excited to be an officer again this semester! I am a junior majoring in Supply Chain Management and minoring in Management Information Systems at the C.T Bauer College of Business. In my free time I enjoy cooking and baking as well as discovering new music. My goal this semester is to encourage members to give back and help the community while having a good time!
Grecia Vazquez

Hello, my name is Grecia Vazquez and I am the secretary for this semester! I joined BWS in Fall 2023 and decided to become part of the officer team because I really appreciate the environment BWS creates. It's such a joy seeing women uplifting each other up and growing to be successful business women.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, baking, painting, shopping, watching movies, journaling, and drinking matcha!

Fun Fact & Hobbies:
As the youngest of five, I'll the last to graduate in my family! I practiced ballet until my junior year of high school, and while I no longer dance, I'm always up for catching a show or two! Outside of school, I love reading, crocheting, and exploring the Houston food scene with friends and family. ​

This semester, my goal is to connect with each of our incredible BWS members and support them on their journey of growth, both personally and professionally. I'm here to help members access the resources they need to succeed!
