Pranathi Kothuri
President
Hi, my name is Pranathi, and I'm majoring in Marketing with an MIS minor. I am the President of BWS, and in my free time, I really enjoy dancing, traveling, and doing hair/makeup.

I joined BWS in Spring 2022, and I really enjoy meeting new people and the community we have at BWS. As the previous junior and senior corporate relations member, I enjoyed learning about different companies and understanding what I am looking for. I want BWS to be an environment where we can help women grow professionally and personally.

Marissa Coveler
Vice President & Senior Corporate Relations Director
I joined BWS in Spring 2023. I was Junior Corporate Relations Director in Fall 2023, and currently I am the Vice President and Senior Corporate relations director for Spring 2024. I’m a Sophomore double majoring in Management and Supply Chain Management, and I plan to graduate with an honors degree in Spring 2026!
I enjoy watching shows/movies, going on walks, listening to music, and playing games. While I’m born and raised in Houston, the way to my heart is trying new restaurants. I spend most of my time with my friends, family, and pets. I would love to see the world and travel more during, and after, college.
I love being in BWS because I get to make friends, develop myself, and empower women all in one organization. Whether it’s by bringing out good companies, planning interactive workshops, or making friends, I love getting the opportunity to lift women up. I hope to continue to have this opportunity for the rest of my college career, and give back to BWS.
Shaem Siddiqi
Finance Director
My name is Shaem Siddiqi and I’m a Senior majoring in Finance. I joined BWS Spring of 2022, after hearing about it from a friend, and it’s been a wonderful journey since. I ran for officer my second semester, and became the organization’s Finance Director. During my time with BWS, I have had a chance to learn many new skills, interact with members, and become part of a community that supports one another.
In my free time, I enjoy painting, baking, and trying out new coffee shops around the city!
Jazmin Anam
Finance Manager
I am the Finance Manager of Business Women's Society. I joined BWS as a freshman in Spring 2023 where I actively participated and decided to run for an officer position. I am a sophomore majoring in Accounting and will be graduating in the Spring of 2026.
Outside of work and studies, I finds solace in listening to crime podcasts, a hobby that offers a thrilling escape. On free time, I enjoy reading, going on solo trips, and spending time with family and friends.
Looking ahead as Finance Manager, a goal within the organization is to foster a more approachable atmosphere, encouraging student connection and engagement.
Easha Oad
Operations Director
Hi there! I'm Easha K. Oad, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself with you. Currently, I'm pursuing a double major in Marketing and Management, with plans to graduate in May 2024. At BWS (Business Women's Society), I hold the role of Operations Director, but my journey with this incredible organization started back in fall 2023 when I joined as a member. It wasn't long before I took on the responsibility of an officer in the spring semester of 2024.
Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, you'll often find me indulging in my hobbies of painting, traveling, and diving into a good book. Oh, and here's a fun fact about me: when I was 16, I raised two adorable pet hamsters! My ultimate goal within BWS is to empower women and equip them with the tools they need to achieve their personal and professional aspirations. I'm truly passionate about making a difference and fostering growth, both within the organization and in the lives of those around me. Thanks & all the best!!
Rhea Mistry
Logistics Manager
Hello My name is Rhea! I’m a Junior majoring in Marketing, and I am the Logistics Manager for BWS. In my free time I enjoy dance, art, and trying out new cafes in the area. I also do henna on the side as well!
I joined BWS in Spring 2022, and have got to connect with and learn about so many peers and professionals. Through corporate events, socials, and panels, BWS has helped me grow personally and professionally. I’m looking forward to creating a welcoming environment for our members through events this semester!
Nimisha
Junior Corporate Relations
Hi! My name is Nimisha Khiantani and I am a upcoming junior at the University of Houston Bauer College of Business double majoring in Accounting and Management Information Systems. I joined BWS in Fall 2023 and I am the Spring 2024 Junior Corporate Relations Director. In my free time, I love to dance, travel, hang out with friends and family, and bake desserts! My goal for this semester is to connect companies across all business sectors to talented students in our organization.

Member Relations Director & Media Director
My name is Cheyenne Fox, and I am the Media & Member Relations Director for Business Women’s Society. I am a junior majoring in accounting and minoring in entrepreneurship, and I joined Fall of 2023. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and baking. My goal for the semester is to help more members engage with more like-minded women and enjoy ourselves during the stressful times of the school year with socials!
Kayla Duarte
Community Service Director
Hannah Mathew is the Community Service Director for Business Women Society and has been an active member since Fall 2022. She is a sophomore, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration.
She is from Austin, TX but is loving her time in Houston! In her free time, Hannah loves going on hikes, working out, reading and finding new cool spots. Hannah also loves to travel and will be spending this summer abroad doing an internship in New Zealand. She loves to seek adventure in new places and learn cultures in different countries worldwide.
Hannah is very passionate in helping others and giving back to the community. Her goal as an officer this semester is to create opportunities for BWS to give back to the community while empowering women and creating a supportive environment. She is very excited to be the Community Service Director this semester and looks forward to all the events planned for this semester! She looks forward to meeting all of you and having a great time :)

Serena Scaria
Secretary
Sima Pangyani is the Secretary for Business Women Society and has been an active member since Fall 2022. She is a sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems at C.T. Bauer College of Business.
Sima was born in Nepal but has spent most of her life growing up in Houston. In her free time, she likes to cook new recipes and do arts and crafts. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends.
As Secretary, Sima wants to welcome members to a positive and encouraging environment. Her goal for this semester is to build connections with members at events and provide great support to everyone at BWS. She also hopes for members to have a fun and memorable experience!
Kayla Duarte
Community Service Director
Hi my name is Kayla Duarte and I am the community service director for BWS! I have been a member of BWS since Spring of 2023 and am excited to be an officer this semester! I am a sophomore majoring in Supply Chain Management and minoring in Management Information Systems at the C.T. Bauer College of Business. In my free time I enjoy cooking and baking as well as discovering new music. My goal this semester is to get members excited about volunteering and giving back to the community!

I joined BWS in the spring semester of 2023 and I have been secretary for Fall 2023 ans Spring 2024. I am a sophomore majoring in Supply Chain Management and Management Information Systems and plan to graduate in May 2026.
In my free time I enjoy visiting new restaurants with friends, baking, watching movies, and reading. I also love going on walks and spending time with my family.
As the secretary, my goal is to keep track of member points and create fun newsletters to keep everyone updated on our events while contributing to the welcoming environment of BWS. I love being part of BWS because of the intimacy and chance to share and learn advice from my peers.
